CTQs: As a research based novel, how is this different from the other texts you read this semester? How is racialization, as demonstrated in Menchaca, evident in Bolivar? How is diversity, as demonstrated in Takaki and Zinn, in Bolivar? How did Bolivar’s class and color privilege him or not? What other characters (and what were their castas) were important in the revolution?
Goal:
To connect Bolivar to what we have read, viewed and learned in class.
Use scenes and quotes from the beginning, middle and end of the novel.
Quotes should connect as support for your statements.
You should use at least 3-4 quotes and or scenes minimum.
Use proper citations throughout.
