INFORMATION SERVICES INTERN
    The Information Services Intern will fulfill responsibilities for Information Services (our front desk
    service area) in the areas of hospitality, facilities, outreach/ambassador, and special projects.
    Past projects and possible future projects may include:
    Hospitality Work at the Information Services desk, answer phone calls, develop guest
    services resources, drop-ins triage and greeting, assessment support, and create a
    welcoming atmosphere for all Hub guests
    Facilities Arrange space for Hub events, manage Hub inventory, ensure safety and
    cleanliness of Hub public spaces
    Outreach/Ambassador Provide information and resources to LSA departments and
    units, participate in Hub interviews, assist with Hub events, and serve on focus groups
    Special Projects Past projects and possible future projects may include:
    Curate and publish a monthly internal Hub-staff newsletter, including creating
    article topics and interviewing staff members
    Develop an Information Desk Quick-Reference Guide
    Update Hub Operating and Emergency Procedures
    Collect and analyze Guest Services data
    Create and train staff on pronouns usage
    Lead a staff gratitude initiative
    Identify, pitch, and develop your own projects
