    Description

    Broad Topic Area/Title

    Healthcare management systems

    Problem Statement

(What is the problem research is addressing?)

The study addresses the psychological health statuses of nurses, especially due to stressful work environments.

    Purpose Statement

(What is the purpose of the study?)

This study has the following purposes:

    1. Assessing nurses' intentions to use NHMIS and the determinants of nurses' NHMIS usage.

    2. Investigating how nurses' psychological status influences their NHMIS usage intentions.

    Research Questions

(What questions does the research seek to answer?)

The research explores how technological sophistication, hospital image, subjective norm, original technology acceptance model, and psychological health status impact usage intention.

    Define Hypothesis

(Or state the correct hypothesis based upon variables used)

    Hypothesis 1 (H1).

Nurses' technological sophistication positively affects their HMIS usage intention.

    Hypothesis 2 (H2).

The higher the technological sophistication, the more the perceived usefulness toward HMIS.

    Hypothesis 3 (H3).

The higher the technological sophistication, the more the perceived ease of use toward HMIS.

    Hypothesis 4 (H4).

Hospital Image positively affects nurses' HMIS usage intention.

    Hypothesis 5 (H5).

The higher the nurses' subjective norm, the more HMIS usage intention.

    Hypothesis 6 (H6).

The higher the nurses' subjective norm, the more perceived usefulness toward HMIS.

    Hypothesis 7 (H7).

The more the perceived usefulness for nurses, the higher their usage intention.

    Hypothesis 8 (H8).

The more the perceived ease of use for nurses, the higher the perceived usefulness.

    Hypothesis 9 (H9).

The more the perceived ease of use for users, the higher their usage intention.

    Hypothesis 10 (H10).

Nurses' usage intention and perception toward NHMIS varies by their psychological health status.

Identify Dependent and Independent Variables and Type of Data for the Variables

The dependent variable is NMIS usage intention. The independent variables include technological sophistication, hospital image, subjective norm, original technology acceptance model, and psychological health status.

    Population of Interest for Study

The population of interest is nurses who volunteered and provided services in medical institutions.

    Sample

The sample consisted of Nurses from Taiwan and the northeast of China.

    Sampling Method

    Systematic sampling

    Identify Data Collection

    Identify how data were collected

    Data collection was through questionnaires

    Summarize Data Collection Approach

A mail survey was used to send questionnaires to respondents.

The study consisted of 38 questions, requiring approximately 380 samples.

In total, 2000 questionnaires were sent, and 1612 were collected, translating to an 80.6% response rate.

    Discuss Data Analysis

Include what types of statistical tests were used for the variables.

The study utilized Statistical SPSS 22.0 in statistical data analysis. The study tested its hypotheses using structural equation modeling.

    Summarize Results of Study

The total sample size was 1565. Nineteen were male, and 1546 were female. Seventy-three percent of respondents reported positive psychological health, while 27 percent reported negative psychological health.

Al the variables indicate a coefficient of above 0.7 in the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient chart, indicating high reliability and credibility.

    Summary of Assumptions and Limitations

Identify the assumptions and limitations from the article.

Report other potential assumptions and limitations of your review not listed by the author.

Neither an assumption nor a limitation was mentioned in the article. However, since the population and sample were based on only two geographical locations, the study results may not give the general impression of the entire nursing field.
